Toque of the Town with Filipino-American Top Chef Dale Talde


Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan and Philippine Airlines, two proud Filipino organizations with global recognitions partnered together to bring to the country, Dale Talde. To reality tv and culinary show fanatics, his name may ring a bell. Dale Talde was part of the television show, Top Chef Season 8 and Top Chef All Stars.

Talde has come a long way after his television stint and has made a big name for himself when he opened a restaurant and bar called Talde in Brooklyn, New York, Miami Beach and Jersey City with two other partners. There, he re-imagines iconic Asian dishes, imbuing them with American influenes while doubling down on the culinary fireworks that made them so popular in the first place. His latest venture is his cookbook entitled Asian-American, where he shares the recipes that have made him famous, all told in his inimitable voice.

Talde will be in Azure Beach Club at Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan to showcase his unique culinary style and Filipino heritage in a 5-course dinner menu and ala carte options with his version of some of the most notable Filipino recipes, on May 18-22, 2016. His menu will be available from 6:00pm-10:00pm.

Philippine Airlines customers with Mabuhay Miles card, have boarding pass or ticket for any flight during the month of May are entitled to 20% discount for the set dinner, a benefit which can be availed by showing their boarding pass, ticket or mabuhay miles card upon dining.

Repeat diners will also be entitled to 20% discount and complimentary large bottle of San Pellegrino for the 2nd visit, 30% discount and an aperitif  for 3rd visit and 40% discount and a bottle of house wine white or red for the 4th visit.
